Engineering Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Achieve a minimum of 95% adherence to daily engineering operations KPIs.
• Implement at least three new engineering best practices annually with a minimum 90% compliance rate across teams.
• Increase engineering productivity by at least 15% through streamlined and optimized operational processes within the first year.
• Maintain engineering budgets within a 5% variance while ensuring optimal utilization of engineering resources.
• Ensure 100% visibility and efficiency in resource allocation across engineering teams.
• Track and ensure code quality using metrics such as code coverage, cyclomatic complexity, and code duplication.
• Monitor bug fix rate and time-to-resolution to ensure rapid response to defects and production issues.
• Measure feature delivery rate to assess team throughput and productivity.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects and features in alignment with business timelines.
• Track deployment frequency to assess continuous delivery and release maturity.
• Monitor customer satisfaction using metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and structured customer feedback.
• Evaluate team velocity and cycle time to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in defining, tracking, and reporting engineering KPIs and operational metrics is required.
• Proven ability to perform effective resource planning and capacity management across multiple engineering teams is required.
• Hands-on experience using Power BI or similar BI tools for operational dashboards and reporting is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project delivery is required.
• Experience in improving engineering productivity through process optimization and best practices is required.
• Strong understanding of software delivery metrics, quality indicators, and delivery performance is required.
• Familiarity with engineering cost controls, budgeting, and financial tracking is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
