Our business is built on finding great people and getting out of their way while they build and improve our award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join the Docusign India s Engineering organization. You will help scale and build the next generation of Docusign s agreement platform and services/products. You will build the Tools and Technologies needed for IAM Maestro. As a technology leader, you will help build a top-tier software organization that is responsible for the development and upkeep of highly scalable, reliable, and available ( 5 nines ) systems. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering. Lead a multi-functional engineering team responsible for Docusign s App Center initiatives Set and articulate a clear technical vision and product roadmap for the App Center, focusing on usability, performance, and scalability Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other partners to define requirements and deliver business-critical features Guide the team to produce high-quality, maintainable code, emphasizing testing, monitoring, and logging best practices Champion best practices in DevOps, continuous deployment, and Agile processes Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration Engage with third-party developers and partners to expand the ecosystem of integrations available through the App Center What you bring Basic 12+ years of software development and management experience across multiple languages/frameworks (or equivalent) 8+ years of hands-on coding or equivalent 3+ years of leading software teams of 5+ people or equivalent Proven track record in building solutions that consume and expose APIs/web services Experience in SaaS or Cloud environments Preferred Expertise with high-availability (99.99%+) distributed systems Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies Curiosity and adaptability in learning new tech stacks Experience building and scaling platform components for app marketplaces or similar ecosystems Prior involvement in designing secure, reliable integrations with third-party apps or services
