Engineering Leader - Insurance Domain

Role Overview: As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end engineering efforts for cloud-hosted SaaS products. Your role will involve making architectural and technical decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and quality of the technology products. Additionally, you will guide and mentor engineering teams, stay involved in the build process, work on AWS-based deployments, and leverage Java, Python, and open-source technologies across the tech stack. Your experience in the commercial insurance domain will be crucial in driving the right technical decisions across teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end engineering for cloud-hosted SaaS products. - Make architectural and technical decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and quality. - Guide and mentor engineering teams; stay close to the build process. - Work on AWS-based deployments and cloud engineering best practices. - Leverage Java, Python, and open-source technologies across the tech stack. - Identify opportunities to integrate AI into product workflows (awareness-level expected). Qualification Required: - Experience in commercial insurance technology. - Strong engineering/build background with a focus on building products. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud and cloud-native application development. - Expertise in Java and open-source technologies such as Python and OSS frameworks.
