Engineering Head (Repair & Maintenance) - Medanta Hospital - Gurgaon

Role & responsibilities To direct & provide technical/ operational support for the designing, installing, maintaining & smoothly operating machines & equipments such as HVAC, Chillers, DG sets, Boilers, Lifts, Fire Management System, Sprinklers system, Water Supply & Drainage System, Water & Fuel Storage System etc. Supervise & evaluate the work performance of assigned personnel. Assists the reporting personnel to provide a comprehensive Engineering service to ensure that all amenities are resourced and maintained to the specified standard. Ensures operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Assists in the handover of all infrastructure & services from the projects to the operations team as per the laid standards. Supervises for all the installation & maintenance works of HVAC, DG Sets, Boilers, Chillers, Fire Management Systems & their repair. Ensures smooth operations of the most complex and vital systems such as water supply & drainage system, water & fuel storage system, fire management system, plant room, services. Understands the functioning of BMS, fire fighting & sprinkler systems, IBR boilers, Laundry & Kitchen equipments, UPS, Precision Air conditioning, Audio video system. Supervises contractors & inspects works done by contractors to comply with the engineering designs & drawings/ instructions. Understands PLC operation of DG set and well conversant with building bye laws related to Electrical, Fire, Water management. Performs the functions like energy conservation, man management, vendor handling, spare parts management & cost control etc. Preferred candidate profile B.E. (Electrical) / B.E.
