Engineer- Test

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, and modifying test cases to validate various software programs. Your role will involve collaborating across engineering teams to implement test plans and ensure the launch of cutting-edge products. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, create, and modify test cases for embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and specialized utility programs - Collaborate across engineering teams to design and implement test plans - Apply software and systems knowledge to assist in the validation of software programs - Design and implement basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to identify failures within code areas - Write functional tests for features, assist in identifying and documenting software defects, and collaborate with project teams to improve product quality - Develop test case automations and scripts to enhance productivity Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Master's degree in a relevant field preferred - At least 1 year of work or academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Experience in Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans - Familiarity with tools like Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, your decisions will impact your direct work area or work group.
