Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for individuals with expertise in Python programming, Machine Learning concepts, and Automation Testing using Python framework. As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will apply your software knowledge to support the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your responsibilities will include analyzing user needs, designing and implementing software features, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure timely project completion. You will also be involved in code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging to maintain code quality. Collaboration with project team members and writing technical documentation for software projects will be key aspects of this role. You will work under supervision, with decision-making impacting your direct area of work and/or work group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to convey basic factual information. The job tasks involve multiple steps that may need to be performed in various orders, requiring planning, problem-solving, and prioritization for effective task completion. The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with at least 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python is necessary.
