Engineer, Software QA 2

You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Acquiring and demonstrating domain knowledge of OMD products. - Fully participating in the software development life cycle to establish test scenarios and automating them using KLA test automation frameworks to prove the functionality and robustness of the software created. - Interacting with multisite team members (India, Israel & China) during the software product life cycle for requirement analysis, Software Test Plan (STP) preparation, Software Test Design (STD) preparation, and Executing Tests. - Working with hardware, Systems, and Application groups to understand system requirements and map them to software testing needs. - Participating in deployment/troubleshooting at customer sites. - Reviewing software design, change specifications, and plans against and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performing or co-ordinating verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. - Developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining standards for quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures. - Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable quality standards. - Creating tests to identify software problems. - Analyzing bugs and errors found during tests and documenting results of tests. - Recommending improvements in software to enhance user experience. - Working together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: - BE/BS/BTech degree with 1 or more years of SW Testing experience. - Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering. - Extensive experience in Automated software Testing and Manual testing. - Exceptional attention to details. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas, with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction. - Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. - Willingness to travel to Israel, US, and other customer places on short assignments. - Experience in developing software or automation scripts in C# or Java (C# is preferred). - Experience in Designing and/or working experience with different kinds of Automation test frameworks (FlaUI, MS CodedUI, Appium, Selenium, etc.). - Knowledge of KLA specific or general semiconductor domain (Optional). - Experience with large software systems/tool applications is preferred.
