Engineer, Senior - C/C++ (Multimedia)

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for an Engineer to join their Engineering Group, specifically in the Software Engineering domain. As a part of the multi-skilled IOT platform team, you will be responsible for various tasks such as quick prototype building for customer demos on Linux/Android, feature development across the software stack, and contributing to the software execution of Qualcomm SoC based IOT products. Additionally, you will support platform bringups, resolve platform-specific customer escalated issues, and ensure timely delivery of competitive products in terms of functionality, stability, and performance. To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong development experience in C/C++, excellent programming skills, and hands-on experience with Android and/or Ubuntu are required. Knowledge of Linux concepts like systemd, SELinux, Snaps, Sandboxing, Container, Docker, Linux kernel internals, SOC systems, and multimedia subsystems is essential. Furthermore, troubleshooting skills, experience with the full software development life cycle, and the ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams are crucial for success in this role. The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, a Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field.
