The Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Center (RMDC) is a crucial global team responsible for ensuring the operational availability and performance of Fluences worldwide Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) fleet. Your role in RMDC is vital in maintaining the safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of advanced energy storage assets globally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as the remote owner for large-scale BESS sites worldwide - Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and technical issues reported via alarms or customer calls - Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot various systems and components including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), HVAC & Chillers, Ubuntu/Linux Servers, SCADA Systems, and Networking Devices - Coordinate with Field Service Engineers (FSEs), regional operations teams, and technical specialists to resolve incidents promptly - Ensure safety-first practices during all remote maintenance activities - Maintain accurate logs, site tickets, and professional service reports within Fluence's service management platform - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance uptime, response time, and cost-efficiency - Escalate persistent issues and provide feedback to Engineering, Product, and Installation teams for system enhancements - Support planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities remotely and minimize site disruptions - Participate in continuous knowledge sharing and training for system-wide familiarity across all configurations **Shift & Team Structure:** - Based in Bangalore, working in a 24/7 rotational shift model including weekends and holidays - Part of a global critical response team handling remote site management for Fluence assets across Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions **Ideal Candidate Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or Licensed Electrician - 2-3 years of experience in remote O&M or technical support roles in Energy Storage, Power Generation, or Industrial Automation - Hands-on experience in monitoring and troubleshooting BMS, PCS, HVAC systems, Ubuntu/Linux OS, Cisco networking devices, and SCADA protocols - Comfortable working in high-pressure environments with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction - Strong communication skills, incident management experience, and proficiency in documentation and reporting - Physically capable of supporting field teams if required **Why Join Fluence RMDC ** - Contribute to the global clean energy transition - Work on cutting-edge energy storage technologies - Grow your career in a high-impact, technical role with global collaboration opportunities - Contribute to enhancing energy grid stability, sustainability, and resilience worldwide,
