Engineer- Python Automation Testing Framework

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams is essential to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in Python programming, Machine Learning concepts, and Automation Testing (Python framework, autoframework) is mandatory for this role. Your primary responsibilities will include applying your software knowledge to support the design, development, and validation of software solutions. You will analyze user needs and requirements, design and implement software features for products and systems, participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure project completion on schedule. Furthermore, you will be involved in code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging to maintain code quality. Collaboration with project teams and writing technical documentation for software projects are also part of your duties. You will work under supervision, and your decision-making will impact your direct area of work and/or work group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to convey basic, routine factual information. Tasks may involve multiple steps that require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to be completed effectively.
