Engineer- Power Analysis & Optimization

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Engineering Group, specifically focusing on Software Engineering. As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs. Your work will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams will be essential to design system-level software solutions and gather performance requirements and interfaces information. To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - 1+ year of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of experience with Database Management Software. - 1+ year of experience with API. - 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System. As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will include applying software knowledge to support software design, development, and validation. You will analyze user needs and software requirements, design and implement small software features, participate in coding, testing, debugging, and integration efforts, and collaborate with project teams to achieve project objectives. Additionally, you will be involved in code reviews, regression tests, and writing technical documentation for software projects. In this role, you will work under supervision, and your decision-making will impact your direct area of work and/or work group. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey basic factual information effectively. Your tasks will involve multiple steps that require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to ensure effective completion.
