Description
As a Networking Systems Engineer, you will fill a critical role in implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and securing our organization s IT infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, enhancing security, and supporting our growing workforce. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a remote environment and adept at using a variety of online tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures. Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, firewalls, VPNs, and console servers. Order and manage internet circuits to ensure optimal connectivity. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors and customers to resolve connectivity problems. Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures for network systems. Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience implementing and supporting: Firewalls, Routers, BGP, IPSec. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty) are a plus Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT - Networking, or a related field. Skills: Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IPsec). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a remote environment. Hands-on experience with network diagnostic and monitoring tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service. Skills in managing time and resources effectively in a remote work setting.
