Engineer- Linux Test

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, creation, and modification of test cases to validate a wide range of software components including embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and specialized utility programs. You will collaborate with diverse engineering teams and functions to ensure the successful implementation of test plans to launch cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying your software and systems knowledge to support the testing process - Designing and implementing basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to identify code failures - Writing functional tests for features to guarantee functionality - Assisting in the identification, analysis, and documentation of software defects - Collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives and enhance product quality - Contributing to the development of test case automations and scripts to enhance productivity Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 1+ year of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of experience in Software Test or System Test, including developing and automating test plans and tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, Bug Tracking Tools) Level of Responsibility: - Working under supervision - Decision-making affecting direct area of work and/or work group - Utilizing verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information - Performing tasks that involve multiple steps requiring planning, problem-solving, and prioritization for effective completion This job at Qualcomm offers you the opportunity to be part of a leading technology innovator driving digital transformation and creating a smarter, connected future for all.,
