Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Engineering Group. As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to launching cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, and test engineers is crucial to design system-level software solutions that meet performance requirements and interfaces. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ year of experience in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of experience in Database Management Software. - 1+ year of experience in API. - 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System. As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will include analyzing user needs and software requirements, designing and implementing small software features, coding for small features, unit testing, debugging fixes, and integration efforts. You will also be involved in code reviews, regression tests, and writing technical documentation for software projects. This role requires effective communication skills, basic problem-solving abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You will work under supervision, with decision-making impacting your direct area of work or work group.
