As a Software Engineer, your role will involve designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to deliver cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate with various teams including systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to develop system-level software solutions based on performance requirements and interfaces. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will include: - Applying software knowledge to support the design, development, modification, and validation of software solutions. - Analyzing user needs and software requirements. - Designing and implementing software features for products and systems. - Participating in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure project completion on schedule. - Assisting in code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging to maintain code quality. - Collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives. - Writing technical documentation for software projects. Level of Responsibility: - Works under supervision. - Decision-making impacts direct work area or work group. - Requires communication skills to convey factual information. - Tasks involve multiple steps requiring planning, problem-solving, and prioritization.
