Engineer- Camera Driver

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating cutting-edge embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs. Your work will contribute to the creation of world-class products that exceed customer expectations by collaborating with various teams including systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design innovative software solutions. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field along with at least 2 years of relevant Software Engineering experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience or a PhD in a related field will also be considered. You should have a strong background in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a relevant field, 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, expertise in Database Management Software and API, and familiarity with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management Systems. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your software knowledge to develop and customize software, analyzing user needs for optimal operational efficiency, designing and implementing software modules, and collaborating with the project team to meet project objectives. You will also be involved in code reviews, debugging, and writing technical documentation for software projects. This role requires you to work under supervision, with decision-making that may impact beyond your immediate work group. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective prioritization are essential to successfully complete tasks.
