Engineer - Android Developer

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Proven experience in Android application development. - Software design and development on multiprocessor and multithreaded platforms. - Debug and resolve issues in software reported by internal test teams and customers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in relevant field. - 2+ years of experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1 to 3 years of experience with Android application development. - Proficiency in Java, OOPS, and Android Concepts. - Expertise in Android studio, UI development, and creating responsive designs. - Experience with Android build system. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of Android components like ViewModel, Preferences, and UI layouts. - Hands-on experience with Android design patterns. - Good understanding of multiprocessor architecture and familiarity with Android debugging. - Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Java Reflection APIs. - Exposure to ARM-based processors and software development in Middleware layer. Qualification Requirements: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.
