The role combines technical understanding, commercial discipline, and professional client interaction. The Candidate will manage the journey from enquiry to order: requirement analysis, proposal, negotiation support, and structured handover for execution. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Lead Management Manage incoming enquiries from existing clients, referrals, website, partners, and exhibitions. Identify & target potential customers across sectors such as chemicals, pharma, food, textiles, engineering, and process industries. Conduct professional outreach (calls, visits, presentations) to introduce Energy Pack Boilers’ capabilities. Maintain an organised enquiry and follow-up tracker Technical Evaluation & Proposals Understand process requirements: steam load, pressure, fuel, operating pattern, space constraints, and utilities. Coordinate with the design/manufacturing team for selection, sizing & manufacturing. Prepare structured techno-commercial offers, including clear scope, technical parameters, commercial terms, exclusions, and assumptions. Prepare internal cost sheets, margin workings, and comparison notes where required. Client Interaction & Solution Selling Conduct meetings with purchase, projects, maintenance, and management teams Present solutions in a clear, technical yet practical manner, focusing on reliability, efficiency, compliance, and lifecycle cost. Address technical queries, deviations, and clarifications promptly and precisely Participate in technical and commercial negotiations with senior team support. Order Handover & Internal Coordination Prepare a complete handover dossier for each confirmed order for the execution team. Liaise with design, production, procurement, and service teams to ensure alignment with commitments made to the client. Support documentation for drawings, datasheets, inspection plans, and dispatch communication, if required. Maintain professional and transparent communication with customers during execution. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track competitor offerings, pricing behaviour, and technology trends and share concise insights with management. Maintain an updated funnel of enquiries vs. orders. Submit periodic reports on visits, order prospects, and key account developments. Candidate Profile / Education: B.E./ Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or related discipline. Strong non-engineering profiles with demonstrated industrial/technical sales experience may be considered. Experience: 5 to 7 years in technical or industrial sales (boilers, thermic fluid heaters, utilities, process equipment, EPC, or similar). Skills & Attributes: Sound understanding or aptitude to learn boilers, steam systems, fuels, efficiency, and basic codes/standards. Ability to read and work with RFQs, specifications, and basic drawings Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM or structured reporting is an advantage.
