RequirementsEssential

1. Relevant degree in a quantitative discipline such as: Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics
2. Minimum

   2 years of experience

   in model development or software development, preferably in a commercial environment.
3. Strong knowledge of at least one programming language, such as:
• Python
• MATLAB
• C++
• R
• Java
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Good to Have

1. PhD in a relevant field.
2. Experience with

   mathematical optimisation

   , including:
• Linear Programming
• Dynamic Programming
• Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP)
3. Experience developing

   power market models

4. Prior people-management or mentoring experience.
