Endpoint Engineer - Mac OS

You will be part of the team responsible for preventing data exfiltration on endpoints with a focus on the MacOS platform. Your role will involve designing and developing core features for Nightfall's Data Exfiltration platform by utilizing file & device interfaces and having a deep understanding of Operating System internals. Responsibilities: - Design and develop data exfiltration prevention apps, system extensions, and services on MacOS. - Maintain and enhance mission-critical agents on endpoints. - Take ownership of complex features from design to delivery and troubleshoot customer issues effectively. Requirements: - Expertise in Objective-C or Swift on MacOS. - Demonstrable experience in developing agents on MacOS. - Practical development experience with Endpoint Security System Extension on MacOS, knowledge of IOKit, and MacOS VFS model is a plus. - Proven track record of leading or contributing significantly to projects. - Ability to write concise and well-tested code consistently. - Proficient in navigating and debugging complex code with strong attention to detail. - Capable of conducting OS-level research. - Familiarity with kernel-level debugging processes and tools, with an advantage in using reverse engineering techniques and debugging kernel space code. - Thrive in a dynamic environment, results-oriented, and enjoy solving challenging problems. - Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
