End to End SDET Automation Regression Tester

As an End to End UI + API Automation Regression Tester specializing in QA for Duck Creek applications, you will contribute to the QA automation efforts for our Duck Creek insurance platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing UI automation scripts using Selenium with C# and API, either in RestAssured or RestSharp in a BDD framework. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and stability of user interfaces. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise in test automation, and experience working with the Duck Creek platform are essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will involve defining and implementing UI & API automation strategies for the Duck Creek application. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure automation aligns with business objectives will be crucial. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the automation framework using Selenium WebDriver with C# and BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Cucumber. Integration of automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines and ensuring comprehensive test coverage of Duck Creek's Policy, Billing, and Claims systems will be part of your role. As a mentor and team leader, you will lead a team of QA automation engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality automation scripts. Continuous improvement in automation coverage and effectiveness, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation, and collaborating with manual QA teams to identify automation opportunities are also part of your responsibilities. Regular reporting on test coverage, test results, and defect status to project stakeholders, effective communication with clients, and managing expectations and timelines will be essential. Furthermore, evaluating and recommending new tools or technologies that can improve automation processes, documenting the automation framework, test scripts, and test execution results, and ensuring proper version control and management of automation artifacts are crucial aspects of the role. Key skills required for this position include a minimum of 3+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver using C# for UI automation, expertise in BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Cucumber, hands-on experience with Duck Creek's Policy, Billing, or Claims systems, proven experience in leading and mentoring QA automation teams, experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines, and a strong understanding of Agile testing processes and test management tools.
