As a Human Resources (HR) Generalist at Lumicel Animation Studios, your role will be crucial in supporting our HR department to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. You will have a blend of administrative and strategic responsibilities, playing a key part in functions such as staffing, training and development, HR policies, and processes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with internal and external HR matters, developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, administering benefits and compensation programs, and participating in the recruitment process. You will also contribute to the development of HR objectives and systems, ensuring legal compliance with labor regulations, and continuously improving HR efficiency and employee experience through new procedures and policies. Additionally, you will provide HR advisory services to employees on various matters, produce reports on HR activities, recommend strategies to motivate employees, stay updated on HR trends, recruit and interview potential applicants, manage employee orientation and training programs, and represent the employer in community and recruiting events. Your role will also involve handling employee relations, addressing concerns, and managing committees related to wellness, training, health and safety, culture, and communications. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience as an HR generalist. Additional HR training or experience would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, knowledge of HR procedures and policies, and familiarity with MS Office and HRIS systems are essential. Moreover, you should be detail-oriented, resourceful, and have a good understanding of HR and labor laws.
