Embedded Systems Test Engineer - Automation Testing

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Test Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python scripting, embedded systems, test life cycle processes, and communication protocols. As an Embedded Systems Test Engineer, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, automation, and defect tracking to ensure the highest quality of embedded systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, preparing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, creating test plans from feature descriptions, reporting and tracking bugs/issues, resolving testing-related challenges, coordinating with team members and stakeholders, executing manual and automated test procedures, and analyzing test results. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems testing, strong knowledge of Python scripting for automation/testing, a good understanding of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies, proficiency in bug life cycle and experience using test management tools, familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, RS232/RS485, exposure to test automation tools and equipment used in embedded system validation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication and collaboration skills. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and an ISTQB or similar testing certification would be a plus.
