Job Description

As part of the Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy team, you will be involved in offering optimized solutions utilizing DSP, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms for Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy SoCs. Your role will entail understanding and defining Safety Concept and Architecture, Software Safety requirements, and deploying safety processes following ISO26262 software processes. Collaboration with customers, architects, and test/integration teams is essential. Additionally, you will work on implementing Automotive specific features, software enablement, security, functional safety, and power applications on current and next-gen SoCs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating validation of feature requirements, addressing abnormalities, prototype validation of fixes, and automation of design under test. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understanding and defining Safety Concept and Architecture, Software Safety requirements - Deploying safety processes as per ISO26262 standards - Collaborating with customers, architects, and test/integration teams - Implementing Automotive specific features and software enablement - Coordinating validation of feature requirements - Addressing abnormalities by root-causing and providing detailed corrective actions - Automating design under test and validation efforts - Working closely with design, production, and bench IP teams **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience - OR Master's degree with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience - OR PhD with 1+ year of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 3-6 years of Embedded Software Development experience including low-level drivers and RTOS - Strong expertise in C and Assembly Programming, ARM cores, and RTOS - Experience in SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS, Autosar MCAL, and Autosar BSW integration - Knowledge of ARM Trust-Zone & ARMv7/v8 architecture and debugging skills - Experience in automotive SW development, ISO26262/functional safety, and ASPICE - Basic understanding of Power Mgmt. IC and Software/Hardware Security concepts - Ability to closely work with hardware team and suggest modifications Please note that working experience on Qualcomm chips is a plus.
