Embedded Hardware Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Schematic capture, PCB layout Design proof of concepts through circuit simulations or/and rapid prototyping. uphold hardware design standards and methodologies considering power efficient, robust and reliable hardware solutions Design calculations, analyze, test and validate embedded electronics circuits Documentation of design specifications and implementation details. Collaborating with firmware engineers to develop and test hardware modules Collaborating with harness engineers to design, develop and test hardware modules Design for Manufacturing by collaborating with the manufacturing team Collaborating for business development and certification activities Requirements: Hands-on experience in selection of microcontrollers / microprocessors Hands-on experience in integration of microcontrollers/microprocessors with Interfaces such as I2C, CAN, SPI, RS485, Ethernet is required Hands-on experience in designing analog and digital electronic circuit design. Should have thorough understanding of semiconductor components such as power MOSFETs IGBTS,etc Basic understanding of different types of permanent magnet motors such as BLDC,etc., Proficiency in PCB design tools such as ORCAD, Eagle, Altium Basic understanding of technical and regulatory standards for EMI/EMC Good hardware troubleshooting skills. Able to support/debug system integration
