Embedded Firmware Testing with Python

As an Embedded Firmware Tester, you will have the following responsibilities: - Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of testing experience in Embedded product system Testing. - Conduct testing of Embedded Devices such as Smoke Detectors, IP cameras, Thermostats, and Gateways like Intel, Dell gateways, Samsung hubs, Philips hubs. - Work with short-range protocols including BLE, Zwave, WiFi, and ZigBee. - Handle IoT Edge Firmware and Cloud connectivity, having a good understanding of IoT Platforms like AWS/Azure. - Estimate, prepare requirements, write Test Cases, and create Test Plans. - Design and prepare Test Lab setups, troubleshoot issues. - Utilize Python scripting language effectively. - Demonstrate sound knowledge of Object-oriented programming in Python for script writing purposes. - Develop Test Automation Frameworks, having experience with Robot Framework OR pytest. - Conduct REST API testing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in Embedded Firmware Testing. - Familiarity with Python, ideally with a focus on Industrial Automation (Modbus/OPC UA/BACnet protocol). - Experience with Industrial Automation protocols is considered beneficial for this role.,
