Embedded Dev (QNX)- Engineer, Senior

Role Overview: As an Engineer in Qualcomm India Private Limited's ADAS/Autonomy team, you will be offering optimized solutions for Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy SoCs using DSP, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms. Your responsibilities include understanding and defining Safety Concepts and Architecture, Software Safety requirements, and deploying safety processes following ISO26262 software processes. Interaction with customers, architects, and test/integration teams is crucial, along with collaboration with the Software quality team for adherence to ISO26262 and ASPICE processes. Key Responsibilities: - Work with local and global teams to implement Automotive specific features such as software enablement, security, functional safety, and power on current and next-gen SoCs - Coordinate and execute plans for validating feature requirements and address any abnormal discoveries with detailed corrective actions - Prototype and pre-validate recommended fixes, automate design under test, and collaborate with design/production/bench IP teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 2+ years of experience in Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python - 2 years of Embedded Software Development experience, including low-level drivers and RTOS - 3 to 6 years of industry experience in embedded software driver development - Expertise in areas like C and Assembly Programming, ARM Trust-Zone, ARMv7/v8 architecture, debugging skills, hardware blocks, and Automotive SW development - Experience in ISO26262/functional safety, ASPICE, Autosar MCAL development, Autosar BSW integration, ARM or similar cores, SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS, and Power Mgmt. IC is desirable - Basic knowledge of Software/Hardware Security concepts and past experience with Qualcomm chips is a plus,
