Embedded C++ Engineer

Role Overview: As a developer at HARMAN Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS), you will be responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully-performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. You will work on executing full lifecycle software design, debugging new advanced features, and assisting with the global support and projects team. Your role will involve programming well-designed, testable, efficient code, determining operational feasibility, developing flowcharts and layouts, integrating software components, and supporting the creation of product documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Execute full lifecycle software design, development, and debugging of new advanced features - Assist with the global support team and projects team - Program well-designed, testable, efficient code - Determine operational feasibility and develop flowcharts and layouts - Integrate software components into a fully functional system - Support the creation of product documentation - Perform design, code, and tests review - Create and document software and modules architecture Qualifications Required: - At least 4+ years of experience in C++ in embedded systems with consideration of automotive standards - Experience with development on embedded Linux platforms - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development - Deep knowledge of embedded device constraints and debugging throughout the software development life cycle - Ability to learn new languages and technologies - Resourcefulness and troubleshooting attitude - Excellent communication skills - Education: Masters/Bachelors in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field - Familiarity with design patterns - Experience in creating high-quality cross-platform reusable software - Self-motivated, result-driven individual with a passion for work - Knowledge in git/Gerrit, CMake build environment,
