As an Embedded BMC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and debugging firmware code in C and C++ in the on-site lab. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with silicon architects and designers, analyzing log files, conducting tests to identify issues, and utilizing tools like CMake and Git for firmware development and version control. Your key responsibilities are: - Perform hands-on work in the on-site lab, developing and debugging firmware code in C and C++. - Must have experience in Open BMC or BMC (ILO). - Collaborate with silicon architects and designers, providing guidance and timely status updates. - Analyze log files and offer recommendations for improvements and solutions. - Proactively conduct multiple tests to identify and resolve issues. - Utilize tools such as CMake and Git for firmware development and version control. Your required skills for this role include: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Firmware Development. - Proficiency in C programming for firmware development, preferably firmware that boots an operating system. - Experience with SoC firmware, Platform RoT firmware, or System firmware/software within server architecture. - Experience working in a Linux environment. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively. Qualifications for this position include: - BTech in Computer Science or relevant field. - 6-8+ years of experience.
