ELV-Draughtsman

As an ELV Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in managing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing robust ELV system solutions like CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and communication systems based on client requirements and site assessments. - Preparing detailed technical specifications, project documentation, and accurate cost estimations for various ELV projects. - Conducting site surveys to evaluate project feasibility and gather essential data for system implementation. - Collaborating with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with other building services. - Overseeing the configuration, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. - Providing timely and effective technical support to clients, including troubleshooting, system functionalities, and maintenance guidance. - Managing project schedules, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality material delivery and project completion within deadlines. - Performing regular system checks, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity. - Staying updated with new technologies, industry standards, and best practices in ELV systems through continuous learning and professional development. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Proven experience as an ELV Draughtsman or in a similar role within the industry. - Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, communication, and access control. - Familiarity with relevant industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to ELV engineering, such as AutoCAD or BIM software. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Professional certifications in low voltage systems or related areas.,
