Job Description

Design and Development: You might be involved in designing new electronic systems or upgrading existing ones on ships, submarines, or aircraft. Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and systems on naval vessels. System Integration: Ensuring the proper integration of electronic systems with other shipboard systems. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting tests and inspections to ensure the functionality and reliability of electronic systems. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system configurations. Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and support to other personnel regarding electronic systems. Cyber Security: May be involved in the implementation and management of cyber security measures for naval networks and systems Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, systems, and components, including experience with analog and digital electronics, communication systems, and embedded systems. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document findings and collaborate with other engineers and technicians. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals. Naval Experience: Prior experience in a naval environment or with military systems is a plus.
