Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Wiring: Help install and connect wiring, conduits, lighting, switches, and outlets.
• Maintenance & Repair: Assist in inspecting, testing, and repairing electrical components, fixtures, and systems.
• Troubleshooting: Use testing devices to diagnose faults like short circuits or power outages.
• Code Compliance: Learn and follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and protocols.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, possibly an ITI or technical college certificate.
• Apprenticeship: Completion of an electrician apprenticeship is often required.
• Tools: Familiarity with hand and power tools, testing equipment (multimeters).
