Role & responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electrical technicians and any assigned contractors at AAI sites in Bengaluru. Ensure all electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations are carried out in accordance with the Indian Electricity Rules, relevant IS standards, AAI guidelines, and Shri Sai Enterprises' procedures. Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints specific to AAI infrastructure. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment (including lighting, power distribution, HVAC electrical components, etc.), and installations to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance. Perform and supervise testing and commissioning of electrical equipment after maintenance or new installations. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and implement effective repair solutions, minimizing downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all electrical systems at AAI sites. Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, AAI safety protocols, and Shri Sai Enterprises' safety policies, including permit-to-work and lockout/tagout procedures. Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety control measures for all electrical work. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and electrical system modifications, adhering to AAI documentation requirements. Prepare regular reports on the status of electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and any incidents or concerns for Shri Sai Enterprises management and potentially AAI stakeholders. Communicate effectively with Shri Sai Enterprises management, AAI personnel, and other relevant stakeholders regarding electrical maintenance activities and any operational issues. Manage and allocate resources (personnel, tools, materials) effectively to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical maintenance team. Ensure all work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner. Respond promptly and effectively to electrical emergencies at AAI sites. Stay updated on the latest electrical codes, AAI regulations, and best practices in electrical maintenance. Preferred candidate profile Required educational qualification - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. minimum years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and supervision, preferably within regulated environments or large infrastructure projects.] Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrician ideally working on sites with stringent regulatory compliance (experience with AAI or similar organizations is highly desirable). Thorough knowledge of Indian Electricity Rules, relevant IS standards, and familiarity with AAI electrical guidelines and procedures. Strong understanding of various electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, protection systems, and associated equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings and schematics. Hands-on experience with electrical testing and commissioning procedures. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in diverse electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of electrical technicians effectively. Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with AAI personnel. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently. A strong commitment to safety and compliance. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation. Must be willing to work at various AAI sites within Bengaluru as required.
