Electrical Supervisor

Job Description

The Site Supervisor will oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of LAN WAN (Wide Area Network) systems, fire notifier systems, and Public Address (PA) systems. The candidate will also manage site labor, interact with customers on-site, and ensure timely project execution with a focus on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Commissioning • Supervise the installation of LAN WAN Newroking fibre switches racks systems, including networking equipment and switches. • Oversee the setup and configuration of fire notifier systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Manage the installation and commissioning of PA systems, ensuring optimal performance and coverage. 2. Networking & Technical Expertise • Handle the installation and configuration of network switches, routers, and related infrastructure. • Troubleshoot technical issues related to networking, PA systems, and fire notifier systems. • Conduct quality checks and ensure systems meet design specifications and operational requirements. 3. Site Supervision • Coordinate and manage labor teams for efficient execution of tasks on-site. • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all installation activities. • Monitor daily progress and report updates to the project manager or relevant stakeholders. 4. Customer Interaction • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for customers, addressing their queries and concerns. • Provide updates on project status and manage customer expectations. • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality service delivery. 5. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain records of daily site activities, including labor attendance, materials used, and progress updates. • Prepare and submit site reports to the project management team. Qualifications • Educational Background: Diploma or certification in Electrical/Electronics/IT Engineering or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision, preferably involving networking, fire notifier, and PA system installations. • Knowledge & Skills: • Strong understanding of WAN installations, networking devices, and switches. • Familiarity with fire notifier systems and their safety compliance standards. • Experience in installing and commissioning PA systems. • Ability to manage labor teams and resolve on-site challenges effectively. • Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
