Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability activities at our Lanjigarh site. The candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems and a strong understanding of electrical safety and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance (PM), breakdown maintenance, and condition-based monitoring (CBM).
• Maintain and troubleshoot

  33 kV / 6.6 kV switchgear panels, power transformers, and HT motors

  .
• Perform equipment isolation and energization as per safety procedures.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with operations teams for maintenance activities and power restoration during blackouts.
• Monitor substation activities and ensure compliance with electrical safety guidelines.
• Maintain shift reports, equipment history, maintenance records, and monthly reports.
• Identify Kaizen initiatives to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and maintenance resources.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering:

  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering:

  Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, HT motors, switchgear panels, and power transformers.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and maintenance documentation.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
• Experience in Aluminium, Alumina Refinery, Steel, or other process industries will be preferred.
