Preferred : Experience in packaging machine, Horizontal form fill / vertical form fill machines preferred Location: Pune / Chakan Reason for recruitment: New Type of employment: Fixed /permanent / On Payroll Job responsibilities: An Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems for packaging machinery, ensuring optimal functionality, safety compliance, and integration with mechanical components, by creating detailed schematics, selecting appropriate electrical components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring machine designs to life while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Electrical System Design: Develop comprehensive electrical schematics and layouts for machine control systems, including power distribution, motor control circuits, and PLC logic. Select appropriate electrical components (relays, sensors, actuators, etc.) based on performance requirements and specifications. Design and integrate safety circuits to meet industry safety standards. CAD Software Proficiency: Utilize electrical CAD software to create detailed drawings of electrical panels, wiring diagrams, and component placements. Generate 3D models for design visualization and interference checks. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with mechanical design engineers to ensure electrical systems seamlessly integrate with machine components. Collaborate with project managers to meet project timelines and budget constraints. Communicate technical details to manufacturing teams for assembly and testing. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of electrical systems to verify functionality and compliance with design specifications. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during testing and development phases. Standards Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs adhere to relevant industry safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Proficient in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and motor control principles Knowledge of industrial electrical components and their applications Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Strong communication and documentation skills Location preference: Pune area, near to Chakan, Pimpri Chinchwad preferred
