Purchase Engineer

Job Description

1) Knowlege of manufactured parts like, machined items, fabricated items, sheet metal parts 2) Ability to read and undertsand Engineering drawings 3) Knowhow of manufacturing process like machining, fabrication 4) Ablity to costing of manufactured parts, zero based costing , should costing 5) Know how of suppliers in and around Pune 6) Purchasing knowledge for Boughout items like motors, pneumatics , bearings and other miscellenous items 7) Handson experience on material planning and use of MRP software , BAAN/LN prefferred 8) Key performance indicators are a) ONtime delivery in full , 2) Total cost control for project within budget 9) Collaborate with Supplier to get material as desired quality, cost and intime 10) Collaborate with stake holder for material requirement planning and ensure zero shortage and zero production stoppage 11) YOY saving for cost control 12) Preferred experience with packaging machinery manufacturing companies or Machine manufacturing companies 13) Understanding of material master parameters such as Safety stock, EOQ , Lead times etc 14) Knowlege of Inco terms and other logistics practices, documentation 15) Through undertanding of taxes and freights
