Job Description

Purpose / Role Perform the 3D modelling, design activities and prepare the 3D model, drawings assigned to him by the Chief Engineer, in full respect of Contract, Quality, Safety, and Environment requirements, within the Specific Time Schedule and Cost. Key aims and objectives Support Electrical Chief Engineer during the project development. Prime responsibilities and duties Prepare 3D Electrical Models and deliverables assigned, in line with the project schedule and Clients technical documentation and requirements Prepare plans and schematics for electrical systems Prepare layout and detailed drawings for electrical works, based on calculations and specifications Prepare and update sound and reliable MTOs, cable lists, and quantity estimates for electrical works Allied occasional duties Check of detail drawings produced by of external resources. Key internal interfaces Electrical Discipline Manager Electrical Chief Engineer Electrical Engineering Team Project Engineers/Project Engineering Managers Other Disciplines Engineers Key external interfaces Electrical Equipment & System Vendors Engineering Sub-contractors Core competencies Educational qualification : Bachelor degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Total years of Experience : 5 – 10 years Prime responsibility will be to develop 3D model for Electrical works using REVIT / SP3D software. 3D modelling of cable ladders, cable trays and cable routes in Industrial plants / Power stations. 3D modeling of electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, switchgear panels, lighting & small power distribution boards, light fixtures, junction boxes, switches, and sockets. Extract 2D drawings from 3D models and prepare for submission. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and detect / raise / resolve clashes in 3D Models. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for electrical items. Software REVIT SP3D AutoCAD Transferable competencies Time Management Teamwork Ability Proactivity
