EHSS Executive

**Role Overview:** As an EHSS Executive at Syngene scientific solutions limited in Hyderabad, your core purpose will be to follow established procedures and policies related to the quenching station to ensure adherence to safety norms. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing timely quenching of received materials, maintaining safety gadgets and systems, coordinating safety campaigns and activities, and ensuring the proper disposal of hazardous waste and expired chemicals. Your role will also involve implementing and improving the Work Permit System, setting goals for improving EMS, monitoring safe disposal practices, and enforcing safe work practices in the quenching station. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop quenching procedures for hazardous chemicals - Identify and report unsafe situations in the quenching station - Support cross-functional teams in incident investigation processes - Ensure safety handling of quenching materials and equipment - Conduct regular preventive maintenance of quenching station equipment - Provide quenching station activity data for monthly meetings - Coordinate and utilize the allocated OPEX and Capex budget for the quenching station - Ensure all quenching station activities are performed as per Standard Operating Procedures **Qualifications Required:** - Experience: 0-2 Years hands-on experience in chemical handling, including lab & bulk scale reactions - Skills And Capabilities: - Expertise in handling multiple expression platforms - Ability to think scientifically to address complex problems and develop solutions - Strong team player with a collaborative mindset - Good communication skills - Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Organic Chemistry Please note that Syngene values excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all employees, and as an Equal Opportunity Employer, encourages diversity and inclusion in the workplace.,
