We are looking for a passionate and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with a minimum of 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of ActiveRecord , PostgreSQL , and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. A working knowledge of React and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (TDD, code reviews, continuous integration, etc.). Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications. Debug and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate in an agile team environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Take ownership of your deliverables and ensure timely completion. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development. Strong understanding and practical experience with ActiveRecord . Solid experience working with PostgreSQL (data modeling, indexing, query optimization). Excellent grasp of OOP principles and design patterns . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven experience in writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work. Preferred/Bonus Skills: Experience or working knowledge of React.js or other front-end frameworks. Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native application development.
