Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Educational ERP / SaaS solutions to colleges and universities.
• Leverage existing strong connections with colleges, universities, and educational institutions to generate business.
• Build relationships with Directors, Vice Chancellors, Registrars, Principals, and other key decision-makers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and product demos to negotiations and deal closure.
• Achieve revenue targets through enterprise-level software sales and extensive client visits.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–9years of experience in Educational ERP, SaaS, or IT Software Sales.
• Strong existing network across colleges and universities is mandatory.
• Proven track record in high-value B2B sales, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Not Suitable For: Candidates from ERP implementation, ERP operations, or non-IT sales backgrounds without relevant software sales experience.
