Comfortable Working in night shift from 6:30pm to 3:30am IST Moving Sales Manager Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth Lead and manage the moving sales team to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets Develop pricing strategies for local, long-distance, and commercial moves Monitor estimates, conversions, and booked moves to maximize close rates Upsell services such as packing, storage, specialty items, bins Coach team on in-home/virtual estimates, objection handling, and closing techniques Conduct regular performance reviews and sales meetings Customer Experience & Retention Ensure excellent customer communication from estimate to move completion Resolve escalated customer complaints and pricing disputes Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients, realtors, property managers, and corporate partners Reporting & Strategy Track sales metrics: leads, estimates, close ratio, average move value, cancellations Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management Analyze market trends and competitor pricing Recommend process improvements and growth opportunities Requirements & Qualifications Experience 2-5+ years of sales experience in the moving, logistics, or home services industry 1-3+ years in a sales management or team lead role Strong understanding of residential, commercial, and long-distance moves Proven ability to close high-value sales and lead a team Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to handle pressure during peak moving seasons Data-driven mindset with experience reviewing sales reports Experience with CRM systems and moving software (e.g., SmartMoving, MoveitPro, Salesforce, or similar)
