Key Responsibilities: Design and develop concepts for special-purpose machines (SPM) and automation equipment. Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor. Perform calculations for mechanical strength, tolerance, fits, and GD&T. Select suitable mechanical elements (actuators, bearings, gears, motors, pneumatic/hydraulic elements, etc.).
