DTP Operator (Prepress)

We are looking for a skilled DTP Operator with hands-on experience in Preps (Imposition Software) and Prenergy/Prinect Workflow for prepress and output making. The role involves preparing files for printing, creating impositions, and ensuring error-free output for production.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle day-to-day prepress work including layout, formatting, and file preparation.

· Work on Preps for imposition planning and accurate layout creation as per printing requirements.

· Operate Prenergy/Prinect Workflow system for RIPing, proofing, and plate output.

· Prepare print-ready files (PDFs) and ensure compliance with press standards.

· Check and fix preflight issues in customer-provided artwork.

· Coordinate with designers and production teams for accurate output.

· Generate digital proofs and final output (plates/CTP).

· Maintain workflow efficiency, accuracy, and quality standards.

Skills & Competencies Required

· Proficiency in Preps.

· Working knowledge of Prenergy/Prinect Workflow for output making.

· Understanding of RIP, trapping, color management, and preflight.

· Knowledge of PDF standards (PDF/X, PDF workflow).

· Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDraw (for corrections when required).

· Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot prepress issues.

· Knowledge of offset printing processes, plates, and CTP.

Qualification & Experience

· Graduate / Diploma in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or related field.

· 2–5 years of experience as a DTP Operator / Prepress Operator in a commercial printing or packaging setup.

· Hands-on experience in Preps & Prenergy/Prinect Workflow is mandatory.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
