DTP with PREPRESS RESPONSIBILITIES

· Graphic Design and Manipulation: Incorporate and manipulate graphics such as photos, illustrations, and diagrams within the documents. This may involve editing images for clarity, resizing, and ensuring they complement the textual content.

· Quality Assurance: Perform detailed checks on documents for errors in typography, spacing, and alignment. Ensure the materials adhere to provided specifications and quality standards before final submission or printing.

· Technical Proficiency: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DTP software, tools, and technologies. Adapt to new tools quickly and efficiently to enhance productivity and the quality of outputs.

· File Management and Output Preparation: Organize and manage digital files effectively, ensuring easy access and retrieval. Prepare and optimize documents for printing or digital publication, conforming to the required formats, resolutions, and standards.

Compliance and Brand Consistency: Adhere to brand guidelines and standards across all materials produced. Ensure that designs are consistent with the brand identity and message.
Archiving files monthly in a systematic and organized fashion following our standardized file naming procedures and manner of filling.

An understanding of four colour printing processes and print media required, a decent knowledge of Adobe Cloud: PS, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat as well as Corel Draw.
