DSP Audio Software Development Lead

Role Overview: As an Audio DSP Software Developer, your primary responsibility will be to lead the Audio DSP team technically. You will provide planning, technical guidance, and interact with customers to address any technical issues. Your role will involve designing and implementing audio components in Audio DSP, specifically focusing on Griffin/SHARC DSPs using C and C++ programming languages. Additionally, you will design and implement audio applications in Griffin DSP, conduct test tool design and development, and perform unit testing. Analyzing and resolving audio defects by conducting structured root-cause analysis will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will also review designs and implementations, offering constructive feedback, and update designs based on customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Audio DSP team technically, providing planning and technical guidance - Design and implement audio components in Audio DSP, with a focus on Griffin/SHARC DSPs using C and C++ - Develop audio applications in Griffin DSP using C and C++ - Design and develop test tools, and conduct unit testing - Analyze and resolve audio defects by performing structured root-cause analysis and implementing fixes - Review designs and implementations, providing feedback for improvements - Update designs based on customer changes and requirements Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in leading teams from a technical perspective - Proficient in C programming with a good understanding of C++ - Solid working knowledge of audio in SHARC cores - Experience in Audio Management, Chime Arbitration & Playback, and Multi-Core interactions - Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Understanding of RTOS & other OS concepts with working experience - Previous experience in DSP audio design - Familiarity with embedded hardware, including datasheets and schematics - Experience using GIT for version control - Knowledge or work experience in Automotive Infotainment Systems (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
