Job Role Position: Data Governance Specialist (Azure) Job Dimensions, Qualifications & Experience Summary The Azure Data Governance Specialist will define and enforce data policies, ownership models, lineage, cataloging, and quality management aligned with client regulatory and data management needs. Key Responsibilities Overall Responsibilities Define data classification, quality, and ownership models. Implement governance policies using Microsoft Purview. Create golden records processed with MDM. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and recommend approaches for data governance implementation across all required data sources. Technical Responsibilities Proven experience in implementing end-to-end data governance using Microsoft Purview. Define and manage metadata, business glossary, data stewards, and ownership structures. Set up automated data quality checks. Manage cataloging and discoverability of internal and external data fields. Identify and implement critical and key data elements. Develop automated data classification and labeling mechanisms using Microsoft Purview. Knowledge of data governance lifecycle and frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK. Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and ISO 8000. Job Role Position: QA/Test Engineer (Azure) Job Dimensions, Qualifications & Experience Summary The QA/Test Engineer will validate platform functionalities including APIs, data ingestion pipelines, backend services, infrastructure components, and Azure services to ensure the end-to-end platform is robust, secure, and meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities Overall Responsibilities Create and execute test plans for all platform components. Automate API and data testing processes. Perform security, performance, and integration testing. Collaborate with Data Engineers, API Developers, and stakeholders to execute test cases. Technical Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and end-to-end functionality to create detailed test case documents covering platform, infrastructure, data, and API scenarios. Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Azure API Management Portal. Develop data validation scripts using PySpark, Python, or SQL. Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines for automated execution. Recommend and implement automated testing tools suitable for deployment on the Azure data platform. Set up automated data quality checks. Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing across identified scenarios. Document test results and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity on test status. Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
