The Drone Architect Role Summary The Drone Architect will oversee the end-to-end technical architecture of SkyCruze’s eVTOL aircraft—balancing design, propulsion, avionics, and flight control for a scalable and certifiable platform. Key Responsibility Define systems architecture integrating mechanical, electrical, and software layers Develop system requirement specifications and interface protocols Lead reviews on safety, airworthiness, and compliance Bridge cross-functional design decisions with engineering, design, and testing Skills Required 6+ years in aerospace or UAV system design Proven experience with multi-disciplinary platform architecture Understanding of DO-178, DO-254, or other aviation standards Bonus Skills: Experience with modular drone platforms Involvement in certified drone or manned eVTOL programs.
