Job Description

As a DRO Milling Operator, your role involves setting up and operating machinery such as lathes or milling machines equipped with a digital readout system. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine settings based on the DRO display, and ensuring that the produced parts meet required specifications. Your primary tasks will include: - Machine setup: Calibrating and preparing the machine with the correct tooling and settings according to work instructions and blueprints. - Interpreting drawings: Reading and understanding technical drawings to determine required dimensions and tolerances. - Operating the DRO system: Utilizing the digital readout display to accurately position the cutting tool on the workpiece. - Adjusting machine parameters: Modifying cutting speeds, feed rates, and other machine settings based on material and desired finish. - Quality control: Regularly inspecting machined parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards. - Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during operation, including DRO system malfunctions. - Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the machine and work area clean and organized. Required skills for this role include: - Mechanical aptitude: Understanding of machine tool principles and operations. - Precision measurement skills: Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. - Attention to detail: High level of focus to maintain accuracy and consistency. - Basic math skills: Ability to calculate measurements and perform simple calculations. - Technical knowledge: Familiarity with DRO systems and their functions. - Blueprint reading skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. In addition to the job responsibilities, the work location for this position is in Veerasandra industrial area, E-city phase 2. The salary range for the role is between 25K to 35K. This is a full-time job, and the candidate is required to have a Diploma or certification in CNC machining or a relevant technical discipline. As a DRO Milling Operator, you are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. The benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund. You should be willing to work in rotational shifts and join immediately. Reliability in commuting or planning to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka before starting work is necessary for this position.,
