Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for moving heavy items.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including delivery logs and customer signatures.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per hour
